Alpha and Omega is the combination of the first and last letters of the classical Greek alphabet, which is the name of God in the Book of Revelation, as symbols of God are the beginning and the end of all things.
“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” (Revelation 21: 6-7)
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 22: 12-13)
